DALLAS–(HISPANIC PR WIRE – BUSINESS WIRE)–April 25, 2003–Antonio Swad announced today that he has opened the new corporate headquarters for Pizza Patrón at 1228 E. Northwest Highway.
The office will support franchising, franchise support, and company store operations.
In January, Swad sold the Wingstop chain, one of the nation’s fastest growing franchises, ranked number five on Entrepreneur Magazine’s ‘Top 25 Franchises’ list. He is now focusing on taking Pizza Patrón, a 17-year-old Dallas brand that he founded, to a national presence through franchise distribution.
“This business is all about adding value and business opportunity to the Hispanic neighborhoods,” said Swad. “We reach out to these communities in two ways. One, with our food, it’s extremely high quality at very low price points. Secondly, we offer business opportunity in the Hispanic neighborhoods. Our staffs are bilingual and our Hispanic store managers live and work in the neighborhoods they serve. Our entire focus is on being the Hispanic pizza brand.”
Pizza Patrón features festive and fun carryout-only pizza stores that are community based in Spanish speaking or predominately Hispanic neighborhoods. The menu is value oriented, offering high quality, freshly prepared pizzas at very low price points. All pizza dough is made fresh throughout the evening; no preservatives are added or needed. The sauce is prepared fresh in the stores, as well, from crushed Roma tomatoes. Only 100% mozzarella is used. Whole and half pizzas are offered at prices as low as $4.99 for a large pizza with cheese and one topping and $3.49 for the same half pizza. A large deluxe pizza with everything is only $6.99.
Currently, there are four Pizza Patróns open with seven more under development.
