SARASOTA, Fla., July 9 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ — LA GUIA magazine celebrates its 10th year this July with a special anniversary edition. The magazine was founded in 2000 in Sarasota, Florida, and quickly spread its circulation to Manatee, Hillsborough and Pinellas counties, becoming the most popular publication in the Tampa Bay area. Today, LA GUIA has two editions with a circulation of 29,000.
Since its beginnings, LA GUIA has been published every month, becoming the most important magazine in the area, a high ranking within the Hispanic community for its quality and exceptional articles. It is a popular magazine of reference for Hispanics, many bilingual, who prefer to read in Spanish.
Many American businesses, aware of the importance of the Hispanic market, have seen the potential of this publication and seek its readership as prospective clients.
LA GUIA has been recognized four times as the best Spanish publication by the National Association of Hispanic Publications.
The magazine is the stellar product of TV Net Media Group, its publishing company, which then started to create new publications, like the weekly newspaper 7DIAS, the motivational magazine Buen Vivir, Voz Hispana, and special circulations like LA GUIA del Mundial, and LA GUIA de la Salud.
LA GUIA’s advertisers include several who have been listed in the magazine for all of its 120 issues. These businesses believed in the magazine from the start and have had positive results from their advertising. Jim Delgado, lawyer with Kallins, Little & Delgado, asserts: “This is the only magazine that brings me results constantly.”
To celebrate its first 10 years, TV Net Media is preparing the launch of a new product: Telerevista LA GUIA. “Knowing the importance of new media, we want to offer our readers and advertisers access to information audio-visually,” says Beatriz Paniego-Bejar, Project Director. “We also are counting on our journalist team and Consultant, Maria del Pilar Ortiz, recognized journalist, former director of Univision News in Tampa for 11 years.”
“When we reached 10 years in the magazine business, it made us think of the next steps for our publication. As the leader in Hispanic publication in this area, we must evolve and explore new technologies that will offer more to our readers and our advertisers,” concluded Luis Eduardo Baron, Editor of La Guia.
