LOS ANGELES, May 20 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ — Amir Hemmat, CEO of SABEResPODER, announced today the latest additions to the company’s Executive Team. The company has named Media industry veteran Carlos Espinosa as Vice President of Business Development and Hispanic Marketing expert, Liliana Salas-Grip, as Executive Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Affairs.

Espinosa brings over 9 years experience in Spanish Television and Radio Broadcast media. Carlos joined NBC Telemundo in New York City in 2000, followed by a move to Univision Radio, also in New York. In 2004, he was assigned to the West Coast as National Sales Manager for Univision. Before joining SABEResPODER, Espinosa was General Sales Manager for the Univision station in Bakersfield CA. A native of Colombia, Carlos graduated from Fordham University in the Bronx with a B.S. in Political Science with an Economics concentration.

Liliana Salas-Grip joined the SABEResPODER family in 2009 as Executive Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Affairs and brings over 25 years experience in Marketing, Sales and Business Development and more than ten years experience in Hispanic Marketing in the financial services industry. Before joining SEP, Salas-Grip was Director of Corporate Responsibility and Reputation at BBVA Compass. Liliana was also the first Hispanic Initiative Manager at Wells Fargo from 2001 until 2006 where she was responsible for setting the company’s marketing strategy for the segment. At Wells Fargo, Salas-Grip was instrumental in the wide acceptance of the Matricula consular for account opening and the deepening of the relationship with the Mexican, Guatemalan and Salvadorian consulates. She is a nationally recognized and a sought-after speaker on Hispanic marketing and advertising. Liliana serves as Treasurer of the Board of NHLI (National Hispana Leadership Institute) in Washington D.C. and on the Board of the Northwest School for Hearing Impaired Children in Seattle, WA. She has received a number of awards and recognition for her work on behalf of the Hispanic community. Originally from Cuba, Salas-Grip graduated Suma Cum Laude from Golden Gate University with a B.S. in Business and Marketing and is a graduate of the Executive Management Program at the University of Washington in Seattle.
