Charlotte, NC–(HISPANIC PR WIRE – BUSINESS WIRE)–September 25, 2007–Sakrete(R), North America’s original bagged dry cement mix brand, together with professional baseball’s Los Angeles Dodgers, will present a check for $11,000 at tonight’s game against the Colorado Rockies to HomeAid (http://www.homeaid.org), a leading national non-profit provider of housing for the homeless. The presentation will be made during pre-game activities at approximately 6:45 p.m., PST. First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m., PST.

This is the first year of the ‘Sakrete Diamond Play of the Game’ program, which was created by Sakrete to raise money to help fight homelessness. For each Dodgers home win during half of the season, a $200 donation was designated for HomeAid.

Two teams participated this year: the Dodgers and the Baltimore Orioles. A check presentation was made in Baltimore on September 8, when the Orioles hosted the Boston Red Sox.

“We created the Sakrete Diamond Play of the Game to help build strong communities through America’s national pastime,” said Johnsie Beck, president of Sakrete of North America LLC. “This charitable program allows us to make a positive impact here in the greater Los Angeles area because the money goes directly into the L.A. community.”

Sakrete was founded in 1936 and is the original bagged dry cement mix brand in North America. The Sakrete brand is owned and managed by Oldcastle APG/Bonsal American, Inc. Bonsal American is headquartered in Charlotte, N.C. For more information on Sakrete, call
