Hispanic children’s network appoints Senior Director of Affiliate Relations and Director of Business Affairs

New York, NY–(HISPANIC PR WIRE)–October 5, 2007–¡Sorpresa! announced today the appointments of Francisco Sibauste, Jr. as Senior Director of Affiliate Relations and Rodrigo Lopez, Esq. as Director of Business Affairs. Mr. Sibauste will be responsible for expanding our affiliate base as well as enhancing our current affiliate relationships. Mr. Lopez will provide business affairs capabilities to further the effort in original programming, co-production and licensing opportunities for the ¡Sorpresa! Network and digital community.

Mr. Sibauste brings to ¡Sorpresa! extensive experience developing sales and marketing plans, identifying key distributors and managing client accounts with over ten years experience in similar affiliate sales positions with a number of television and media properties including CoaXmedia, Cisneros Televison Group, MGM Networks Latin America, Bloomberg Media and HTV. He will be based in Miami and report to Tim Kelly, Vice President for Affiliate Sales and Marketing.

Mr. Lopez comes to ¡Sorpresa! from the Cisneros Group of Companies where he served as In-House Counsel to its Chairman and CEO advising on matters involving the Group’s international media, entertainment and consumer products businesses and programming licensing agreements. Mr. Lopez, previously an attorney with the Miami law firm of Zarco, Einhorn & Salkowski, P.A., has significant experience advising corporations with complex commercial and international transactions, as well as litigating advertising, distribution and franchising disputes at the federal and international level. He will be based in New York and report to Julie Haire, VP of Finance and Administration.
