Miami, FL–(HISPANIC PR WIRE)–September 26, 2006–With the purpose of offering users more interactive services and providing them the ability to “customize” even more the sports coverage they are interested in, SportsYA (http:www.sportsya.com) launched new products that strengthen the expansion process to transform itself into a digital and multimedia sports network. Said products allow users to interact with others by sending their opinions directly from their wireless phones and seeing their comments published on the page in the cutting-edge SMS Forums, an expansion of the highly-successful discussion forums. Likewise, thanks to RSS (Really Simple Syndication) technology, users can “customize” the information directly to their computers, without having to browse, and easily share it with other users.

According to Enrique Cano, Editor-in-Chief of SportsYA, “our purpose is to expand the volume of information, geographically as well as in terms of audio and video, and continue offering everything pertaining to sports in the most efficient way possible. In all this, we take advantage of the advances in technology and cater to the needs of users in terms of mobility and customization.”

As a result of its success during the World Cup, SportsYA implemented new games for the teams that are most popular among its users: Mexico and Argentina. In Liga Fantástica (Dream Team), users get to choose their players, as well as trade, buys and sell players, and can be the coach of their own teams. In Mi Pronóstico (My Forecast), users measure their knowledge of soccer and make their forecasts for each team in the tournament.

This is all in addition to Gol a Gol and Minuto a Minuto, which follows soccer games in real time, coverage of all sports, the popular segment Chicas SportsYA (SportsYA Girls), surveys, mobile services (information directly to cellular phones) and its Internet cell phone page, http://www.sportsyacel.com, for users who browse the Internet using their mobile phones or PDAs, without having to sit down at their computers.

Before the end of 2006, SportsYA will launch, among other products, its English-language web site, and will make a call to all sports fans to participate in a contest that would allow them to become a permanent contributor of SportsYa.com.
