Los Angeles, CA–(HISPANIC PR WIRE)–May 30, 2007–El Clasificado continues with its vision of empowering our communities and educating Latino small business owners to become stronger financially by providing them with educational services in Spanish at no cost. On Wednesday May 16th nearly 200 small business owners attended El Clasificado’s free small business workshop “Su Socio de Negocios” –the fourth event of its kind for El Clasificado.

Small business owners benefited from the support of several major sponsors offering products and services designed to increase business productivity and efficiency. The seminar also included a special presentation by distinguished speaker Charles Lowe of Loyola Marymount University’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC). The presentation, titled “How to Start Your Own Business and Find Assistance through Public Agencies”, provided information to ensure that small businesses survive beyond the initial start-up phase and develop into successful organizations.

Guests and sponsors alike appreciated the services offered at Su Socio de Negocios. “We are very thankful to El Clasificado for providing the ideal platform to reach so many Hispanic small business owners,” exclaimed sponsor Elva Lopez of State Farm Insurance. “We were impressed by the organization and high excitement of the event, and also by the amount of leads we were able to generate! We often participate in events such as this one, but none of the others’ quality comes close to Su Socio de Negocios.”

Event sponsors for Su Socio de Negocios included The Business Coach, Cingular the new AT&T, State Farm Insurance, Health Net, Lexicon Training Services, US Bank, Time Warner, Washington Mutual, Staples, SELACO Investments, Costco, Ray Reyonlds & Associates, Time Software, El Taxman and Golden Financial.
