Houston, TX–(HISPANIC PR WIRE – BUSINESS WIRE)–September 21, 2006–Antonio “Tony” Grijalva, CEO and co-founder of G&A Partners, a Houston-based Human Resource (HR) and administrative services company, was recently named “Entrepreneur of the Year” at the annual Triunfando Awards, which recognizes the many contributions of Hispanics in Houston. At the Triunfando Award ceremony on Saturday, September 16, Tony received the honor for his strong leadership and continued commitment to the community.

G&A Partners provides growing companies fully-integrated turnkey HR solutions that can include payroll administration, employee benefits, workers compensation insurance, safety, HR support and co-employment of a company’s workforce. In the course of helping other companies grow, G&A Partners has managed to grow as well. “I am extremely proud to have been recognized as Entrepreneur of the Year at this year’s Triunfando Awards,” said Grijalva. “When John and I founded G&A Partners in 1995, we never could have envisioned that our firm would grow to become the city’s largest minority-owned business — instead, we were, and continue to be, focused on delivering quality services to our clients so that they might grow their businesses. Today, it is especially gratifying to be honored with such a prestigious award for remaining committed to our clients.”

Throughout his career, Tony has been instrumental in helping businesses grow, especially minority businesses. Through Grijalva & Allen, P.C., a sister firm to G&A Partners, Tony helps to manage the Houston Minority Business Development Center (HMBDC). Tony’s integrity and respect for his cultural heritage has kept him especially loyal to the Hispanic community. He is the former Chairman of the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and currently serves as a Director with the Center for Houston’s Future, the International Board of Amigos de las Americas, and Sister Cities of Houston.
