Three Sisters Search for More Than Just Love – ‘Más Que Amor…Frenesí’ Debuts on Univision, Oct. 6, 12 PM

MIAMI, FL—(HISPANIC PR WIRE)—October 1, 2003–Univision, America’s leading Spanish-language television network, premieres the limited-run drama series, “Más que Amor…Frenesí” (“More than Love…Passion”) on Monday, October 6, 2003. Produced by Venevision and set in the beautiful city of Caracas, Venezuela, “Frenesí” will air weekdays from 12pm to 1pm ET/PT (11am to 12pm Central/Mountain Time).

“Frenesí” takes TV viewers to everyday places with everyday people. Sisters Virginia (Wanda D’Isidoro), Mercedes (Carolina Perpetuo) and Hada Marina (Gigi Zanchetta) experience sweet, fortunate, unmoving, and passionate love, as they struggle to make their dreams come true in spite of their difficult relationships.

Pregnant and abandoned by the unborn baby’s father, Virginia marries another man, Orestes (Jean Carlos Simancas), a family friend and wealthy doctor. Orestes only weds Virginia to experience the joy of fatherhood, since he is impotent. He conceals this secret and his inability to consummate the marriage by telling Virginia he is not attracted to her due to her premarital relations. While battling with Orestes’ emotional abuse, Virginia meets Santiago (Mario Cimarro), the only man who can free her of her misery.

Mercedes discovers her husband’s extramarital affair only after his unexpected heart attack. Pompeyo (Yanis Chimara) uses this illness to his advantage in order to prolong the inevitable decision of choosing between his wife Mercedes and his mistress Chelo (Dennis Novell).

Hada Marina is unhappily married to Abelardo (Rafael Romero). She tries to compensate this sadness by focusing on her true obsession – cooking. Hada’s friend, Tadeo (Raul Amundaray), helps her fulfill the dream of becoming part owner and chef of a local café.

Will Virginia and her sisters find true love and passion? There are many loves, but none as fervent as those in “Más Que Amor…Frenesí,” which can be seen weekdays from 12pm to 1pm ET/PT (11am to 12pm Central/Mountain Time) on Univision, America’s most-watched Spanish-language TV network.
