Miami, FL,–(HISPANIC PR WIRE)–May 27, 2003–Univision Network’s innovative concepts include the first-ever interactive novela “Rebeca,” where viewers decide how the story ends. Produced entirely in the U.S., “Rebeca” tells the story of three men vying for the love of one woman and debuts Monday, June 2 at 8pm ET on America’s leading Spanish-language television network.

When two men fall in love with the same woman, trouble is bound to ensue. But when the two men are father and son, the consequences are devastating. Rebeca, played by Mariana Seoane, is a city girl who meets two wealthy men. Her charm captivates the father, Sergio (Victor Camara); her beauty mesmerizes the son, Eduardo (Ricardo Alamo); and her love sets father and son against each other.

But there is another man, a workingman, who secretly loves Rebeca. Heartthrob and singing sensation Pablo Montero headlines this story as Martin, playing the role of Rebeca’s neighbor who furtively longs for her even though she perceives him as a younger brother.

Who will Rebeca chose? Will it be Sergio – the father that gives her love, stability and material possessions? Will it be Eduardo – the son who has fallen madly in love with her? Or will it be Martin – the simple and humble young man who can only offer her the purest of love? This groundbreaking novela will put Rebeca’s choice in the hands of its TV viewers.

At a specific plot point of the novela, viewers will be prompted to vote on whom of the three men is most deserving of Rebeca’s love. The audience will become the inner voice of Rebeca as Sergio, Eduardo, and Martin compete for her love. This first-ever-interactive novela brings together Univision Network’s entertainment programs and Univision.com (Univision Communications online platform) like never before.

“Rebeca” can be seen only on Univision Network Monday through Friday from 8 pm to 9 pm ET/PT (7 pm to 8 pm Central/Mountain Time).
