WASHINGTON–(HISPANIC PR WIRE – BUSINESS WIRE)–July 17, 2002–The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation will host an Inaugural Family Day and 2nd Annual Golf Classic 2002 on October 16, 2002, at the Industry Hills Golf Club at the Pacific Palms Resort in Los Angeles, California.
The Inaugural Family Day and Golf Classic 2002 is a part of the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s (USHCC) 23rd Annual National Convention and Business Expo held October 16-19 in Los Angeles, California, where more than 5,000 Hispanic entrepreneurs, business leaders, elected officials as well as corporate America’s CEOs.

All proceeds from the Inaugural Family Day and 2nd Annual Golf Classic will benefit the USHCC Foundation Youth Entrepreneurship Program. The BizFest is an intensive training activity and where participants will learn from business experts how to turn hobbies into profitable ventures, manage money, and develop a business plan.
Winners at the regional BizFests are the eligible to participate in the National BizFest Competition that is held at the USHCC Convention and Business Expo.
At the Inaugural Family Day and 2nd Annual Golf Classic activities, participants will enjoy the Pacific Palms world-class resort that boasts the ultimate in sports and recreational facilities. The resort offers 17 lighted tennis courts, an aquatic center with an Olympic-size competition pool, and an equestrian center with tables, riding and rodeo rings and 15 miles of trails.
