MIAMI, September 22 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ — This weekend, Vesyves (www.vesyves.com), an Internet video portal a la carte in Spanish, was launched, with the slogan “What do you want to see?” Its targets are the more than 125 million Internauts that live in 21 Spanish-speaking countries.

“It is time to offer this audience a video portal that looks like television and offers relevant, passionate, fun and high quality videos,” says Massimo Martinotti, President of Vesyves.

Vesyves produces a large variety of original programming, from comedy and adventure to documentaries and magazines. In addition, it collects programs, shorts, and films, and puts them online so viewers can see them whenever they want on their computers, iPods, videogame consoles, and soon, even on their cellular telephones. “To date, we have produced webisodes for 17 series filmed in Mexico, Miami and Costa Rica, and we are producing new videos in Buenos Aires and Madrid,” adds Martinotti.

Of the series produced, two stand out: “La seducción” (The Seduction) and “Técnicas del beso” (Kissing Techniques) by sexologist Ezequiel Lopez-Peralta and host Sylvia Blanco. “These are,” says Martinotti, “the two programs that, with a touch of humor, teach users the most sophisticated techniques to become a seducer or seductress.”

Additionally, Vesyves has produced “Entre Amigos” (Among Friends) and “MaytequilaBar,” presented by Mayte Prida, which showcased such celebrities as Ricardo Chavez and Ricardo Dalmacci, actors from “Dame Chocolate” (Give me Chocolate) and “Amas de casa desesperadas” (Desperate Housewives), and Mexican host Monique Noguera. In Mexico, a comedy series has been recorded with lead actor Benito Castro, featuring segments like “Monólogo del Pene” (Penis Monologue) and a collection of jokes on video.

Vesyves has produced other series like “De Copa en Copa” (From Glass to Glass), a program about wines with Deby Bear and “Sola” (Alone), an adventure with Ligia Madriga, winner of several Adventure Races filmed in the jungles of Costa Rica.

Vesyves is completely free for users.
