“Everyone has seen the rebirth of ballroom dancing on International Reality TV shows in England, Mexico, Spain, and in the United States with its ‘Dancing with the Stars’ and, more recently, ‘So You Think You Can Dance?’, which broke audience ratings records. The main difference between these kinds of reality TV shows and the “1st Annual World Salsa Championships” is these are professional dancers. What’s more, our event is global in scope, not regional, and we want to show the World who the planet’s greatest salsa dancers are,” explained Albert Torres, the promoter of this event and over 20 other international salsa competitions.
Event producers have put together attractive, “all-included” travel packages from $349 including a stay at the Hotel Orleans and admission to all competition events with live music on the Arena’s gigantic dance floor. Box office tickets can also be purchased from $55. (702) 284-7777. Publicity spots on International TV are available for purchase by a select group of advertisers.
