Miami, FL–(HISPANIC PR WIRE)–August 30 2006–Mega TV Channel 22 announced today that it will broadcast an exclusive debate between Republican incumbent State Senator for the 38th District, Alex Villalobos and challenger, Frank Bolaños, this Thursday, August 31st at 8:00 p.m.

Maria Elvira Salazar, renowned journalist and hostess of Mega TV’s “Polos Opuestos” will moderate this long-anticipated debate between these two Miami politicians that are truly on opposite sides of the coin.

In fact, both candidates have done everything to avoid each other until now. They had not been swayed by anyone including Al Cardenas, former Republican Party State President, who unsuccessfully lobbied for Villalobos to accept a formal debate.

However, after analyzing the situation, the Villalobos campaign finally accepted an invitation to a formal debate on Mega TV’s “Polos Opuestos.”
