As a result, all Post Offices will be closed for the observation of both federal holidays on <span class=\"xn-chron\">Monday, Dec. 26, 2022<\/span> and <span class=\"xn-chron\">Monday, Jan. 2, 2023<\/span>.<\/p>\n<div id=\"prni_dvprnejpga9acleft\" dir=\"ltr\" style=\"width: 100%; text-align: left;\"><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"prnejpga9acleft\" title=\" \" src=\"https:\/\/mma.prnewswire.com\/media\/1854012\/USPS_Logo.jpg\" alt=\" \" align=\"middle\"\/><\/div>\n<p>There are no residential or business deliveries on <span class=\"xn-chron\">Dec. 26<\/span> and <span class=\"xn-chron\">Jan. 2<\/span> except for Priority Mail Express, which is delivered 365 days a year in select locations for an additional fee. All Post Office locations will be open for business and regular mail delivery will resume after the holidays on <span class=\"xn-chron\">Tuesday, Dec. 27<\/span> and <span class=\"xn-chron\">Tuesday, Jan. 3<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><b>Some<\/b> Post Offices <b>may<\/b> have extended hours leading up to the holidays, while others <b>may<\/b> have limited hours on Christmas Eve, <span class=\"xn-chron\">Saturday, Dec. 24<\/span>. There are currently no plans for limited hours on New Year&#8217;s Eve, <span class=\"xn-chron\">Saturday, Dec. 31<\/span>. Customers are advised to <b>always<\/b> check with their local Post Office for hours of operation.<\/p>\n<p>Blue collection boxes with final collection times <b>before noon<\/b> will not be affected by an early closing <span class=\"xn-chron\">Dec. 24<\/span>. If a box normally has a final collection time after noon, its mail <b>may<\/b> be picked up earlier that day.
