There have\u00a0been more\u00a0than\u00a0100\u00a0attacks\u00a0on Catholic Church property across\u00a0the\u00a0nation,\u00a0including in the\u00a0Archdiocese of\u00a0San\u00a0Francisco,\u00a0one\u00a0of\u00a0which was\u00a0someone firing\u00a0a bullet into\u00a0our\u00a0Cathedral. Anti-Catholicism has\u00a0a long and ugly history in this\u00a0country.\u00a0Now, with this\u00a0decision, the <span class=\"xn-location\">Marin County<\/span> District Attorney has\u00a0given\u00a0the\u00a0signal that attacks on Catholic houses of worship and sacred objects may continue without serious legal consequence.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Serra statue on the property of St. Raphael parish was destroyed by vandals in October of 2020.
