For instance, credit repair winner <span class=\"xn-person\">Markia Brown<\/span> is a Certified Financial Education Instructor and a Registered Financial Associate. She told Debt.com she earned those certifications &#8220;because that was one of the ways that I could prove to myself that I knew what I was talking about.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"xn-person\">Adrienne Hines<\/span> \u2013 the Ladylike Lawyer \u2013 knows what she&#8217;s talking about because she&#8217;s a bankruptcy attorney.\u00a0 &#8220;People will sell their home to pay a credit card bill and leave themselves homeless before they explore a realistic legal option,&#8221; Hines says. &#8220;They can&#8217;t imagine calling a bankruptcy lawyer.
