Nanette Diaz Barrag\u00e1n and Vice Chair Rep. <span class=\"xn-person\">Darren Soto<\/span> will be joined by Democratic Whip Rep. <span class=\"xn-person\">Katherine Clark<\/span>; Vice Chair\u00a0of the House Democratic\u00a0Caucus, <span class=\"xn-person\">Ted Lieu<\/span>; Deputy Secretary of HHS, <span class=\"xn-person\">Andrea Palm<\/span> and other CHC committee members.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Agudelo will discuss health issues facing the Hispanic population and share how <span class=\"xn-person\">Vital Salud&#8217;s<\/span> unique value proposition centers on health plan designs that eliminate the high-deductible aspect of typical health insurance plans and the removal of coinsurance. Unfortunately, the health disparities for the population have persisted despite an increase in Hispanic individuals gaining coverage under the Affordable Care Act (ACA).<\/p>\n<p>According to the White House, Latino enrollment through the ACA increased by 900,000 or 53% from 2020 to 2022, helping more Latinos than ever before gain health care coverage.
