The plaintiff, <span class=\"xn-person\">Ashley Redwine<\/span>, filed the lawsuit today in <span class=\"xn-location\">Scurry County<\/span> District Court in <span class=\"xn-location\">Snyder, Texas<\/span> against <span class=\"xn-person\">Elian Enriquez<\/span> and Avitia Trucking, LLC. The lawsuit alleges that on <span class=\"xn-chron\">May 8, 2023<\/span>, 21-year-old defendant truck driver <span class=\"xn-person\">Elian Enriquez<\/span> was driving an oil and gas truck owned by defendant Avitia Trucking, LLC, which was full of hazardous materials north on highway 208 between <span class=\"xn-location\">Colorado City<\/span> and <span class=\"xn-location\">Snyder, Texas<\/span> when he crossed over the yellow line while talking on his cell phone, resulting in a collision with plaintiffs&#8217; vehicle. Plaintiff had to be cut out of her vehicle and suffered critical injuries. She was life flighted to John Peter Smith Hospital in <span class=\"xn-location\">Fort Worth<\/span>.
