Riverside Medical Clinic, Case No.<\/i>: <i>CVR12203466<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>The lawsuit alleges that between <span class=\"xn-chron\">September 9, 2017<\/span> and <span class=\"xn-chron\">December 13, 2022<\/span>, that Riverside Medical Clinic (&#8220;RMC&#8221;) disclosed Settlement Class Members&#8217; web usage data to Facebook (aka Meta) without consent via the Meta Pixel, a tool that allows Facebook to intercept communications made on RMC&#8217;s website, including the personal identifiable information and protected health information of visitors by the website.<\/p>\n<p><b>WHO IS A CLASS MEMBER?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Anyone who is or was a Riverside Medical Center (&#8220;RMC&#8221;) patient or person, who visited the website <a href=\"https:\/\/c212.net\/c\/link\/?t=0&amp;l=en&amp;o=4180251-1&amp;h=1222610226&amp;u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.riversidemedicalclinic.com%2F&amp;a=www.riversidemedicalclinic.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">www.riversidemedicalclinic.com<\/a> from <span class=\"xn-chron\">September 9, 2017<\/span> through <span class=\"xn-chron\">December 13, 2022<\/span> (the &#8220;Settlement Class&#8221;).<\/p>\n<p><b>SETTLEMENT BENEFITS AND TERMS<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The Settlement establishes a <span class=\"xn-money\">$1.75 million<\/span> Settlement Fund. Settlement Class Members who file a valid Claim Form may receive a <i>pro rata<\/i> Cash Compensation from the Net Settlement Fund estimated at <span class=\"xn-money\">$38.83<\/span> per Claimant. The Net Settlement Fund is the amount of funds that remain in the Settlement Fund after: Notice and Claims Administration Costs (estimated at <span class=\"xn-money\">$389,030<\/span>) taxes owed, Plaintiffs&#8217; Service Awards (up to <span class=\"xn-money\">$14,000<\/span>), and any Attorneys&#8217; Fees, Costs and Expenses Award (up to <span class=\"xn-money\">$612,500<\/span>). More information is available on the Settlement Website.<\/p>\n<p><b>RIGHTS AND OPTIONS<\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li><b>Submit a Claim Form.<\/b> To qualify for a cash payment, you must timely mail a Claim Form or timely complete and submit a Claim Form online at <b><a href=\"https:\/\/c212.net\/c\/link\/?t=0&amp;l=en&amp;o=4180251-1&amp;h=1231840946&amp;u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.riversidepixelsettlement.com%2F&amp;a=www.riversidepixelsettlement.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">www.riversidepixelsettlement.com<\/a><\/b> (&#8220;Settlement Website&#8221;). You may also print a Claim Form found on the Settlement Website and mail in your claim. Your Claim Form must be postmarked or submitted online no later than <span class=\"xn-chron\">August 26, 2024<\/span>.<\/li>\n<li><b>Opt-Out.<\/b> You may exclude yourself from the Settlement and retain your ability to sue RMC on your own by submitting the Exclusion Form to the Settlement Administrator via the Settlement Website, or if mailed, postmarked no later than <span class=\"xn-chron\">July 29, 2024<\/span>. If you do not exclude yourself, you will be bound by the Settlement and give up your right to sue regarding the released claims.<\/li>\n<li><b>Object.<\/b> If you do not exclude yourself, you have the right to object to the Settlement. Objection Forms must be signed and submitted via the Settlement Website, or if mailed, postmarked no later than <span class=\"xn-chron\">July 29, 2024<\/span>, and provide the reason for the objection.<\/li>\n<li><b>Do Nothing.<\/b> If you do nothing, you will not receive a cash payment and will lose the right to sue regarding the Released Class Claims. You will be bound by the Court&#8217;s decision because this is a conditionally certified class action.<\/li>\n<li><b>Attend the Final Approval Hearing.\u00a0<\/b>The Court has determined only that there is sufficient evidence to suggest the Settlement is fair, reasonable, and adequate. The Court will hold a Final Approval hearing at <span class=\"xn-chron\">8:30 a.m. PT<\/span> on <span class=\"xn-chron\">August 23, 2024<\/span> to determine if the Settlement is fair, reasonable, and adequate. All persons may appear at the hearing and may state their objections orally at that time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Who are the attorneys for the Plaintiffs and the proposed Settlement Class?<\/b> The Court appointed <span class=\"xn-person\">John J.
