National Association of Realtors<\/i>, Case No. 19-CV-00332-SRB (W.D. <span class=\"xn-location\">Missouri<\/span>); <i>Moehrl v. NAR<\/i>, Case No. 1:19-cv-01610-ARW (N.D. <span class=\"xn-location\">Illinois<\/span>); <i>Umpa v. NAR<\/i>, Case No. 4:23-cv-00945 (W.D. <span class=\"xn-location\">Missouri<\/span>); and <i>Gibson v. NAR<\/i>, Case No. 23-CV-788-SRB (W.D. <span class=\"xn-location\">Missouri<\/span>). The lawsuits allege the existence of an anticompetitive agreement that resulted in home sellers paying inflated commissions to real estate brokers or agents in violation of antitrust law. Proposed Settlements have also been reached with other Defendants in these actions, including Anywhere Real Estate, RE\/MAX, Keller Williams, Compass, Real Brokerage, Realty ONE, @properties, <span class=\"xn-person\">Douglas Elliman<\/span>, Redfin, Engel &amp; V\u00f6lkers, HomeSmart, United Real Estate, and certain of their affiliates. The current value of <i>all<\/i> Settlements with these and other Defendants is over <b><span class=\"xn-money\">$980 million<\/span><\/b>. The Fund will be distributed to qualifying Settlement Class Members who submit an approved claim form, after any awarded attorneys&#8217; fees, expenses, settlement administration costs, and service awards have been deducted. The settling Defendants have also agreed to provide Cooperation and to implement Practice Changes, including that NAR will prohibit sellers and listing agents from making offers of compensation on REALTOR\u00ae MLSs to buyer agents.
