The lawsuit arises from a data incident affecting Builders Mutual on <span class=\"xn-chron\">December 14, 2022<\/span> (&#8220;Data Incident&#8221;) where the computer systems of Builders Mutual were\u00a0allegedly exposed to unauthorized access. This Data Incident allegedly exposed certain private information of Builders Mutual&#8217;s stakeholders, customers, employees of policyholders, current and former employees, and claimants. Builders Mutual denies all liability.<\/p>\n<p><b>Who is included? <\/b>The Settlement includes all individuals residing in <span class=\"xn-location\">the United States<\/span> whose Private Information was compromised in the Data Incident that occurred in <span class=\"xn-chron\">December 2022<\/span> (the &#8220;Settlement Class Members&#8221;).<\/p>\n<p><b>What benefits are available?<\/b>\u00a0The Settlement establishes a <span class=\"xn-money\">$1,475,000<\/span> settlement fund and provides Settlement Class Members with their choice of (1) three years of credit monitoring services, compensation for unreimbursed economic losses (up to <span class=\"xn-money\">$10,000<\/span>), and compensation for lost time (up to 6 hours at <span class=\"xn-money\">$25<\/span> per hour, or <span class=\"xn-money\">$150<\/span> total), <b><i><u>OR<\/u><\/i><\/b> (2) an estimated <span class=\"xn-money\">$100<\/span> cash payment.<\/p>\n<p><b>How do I get benefits?<\/b>\u00a0You must complete and submit a Claim Form by <b><span class=\"xn-chron\">January 08, 2025<\/span><\/b>.
