It is the first time a midsize pickup truck has earned Truck of <span class=\"xn-location\">Texas<\/span>. This marks the third time in four years a Toyota pickup has taken the top award at the Truck Rodeo, with the full-size Tundra earning the honors in 2022 and 2024.<\/p>\n<div id=\"prni_dvprnejpgb3ccleft\" dir=\"ltr\" style=\"width: 100%; text-align: left;\"><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"prnejpgb3ccleft\" title=\"Toyota Tacoma Named Truck of Texas\" src=\"https:\/\/mma.prnewswire.com\/media\/2608397\/Toyota_Tacoma_TAWA_2025_Hero.jpg\" alt=\"Toyota Tacoma Named Truck of Texas\" align=\"middle\"\/><\/div>\n<p>TAWA awarded the all-new Lexus GX 550 the other top award at the Truck Rodeo: SUV of <span class=\"xn-location\">Texas<\/span>. It also voted on category and technical awards at the media drive event. Tacoma earned Midsize Truck of <span class=\"xn-location\">Texas<\/span>, while the GX 550 is Midsize SUV of <span class=\"xn-location\">Texas<\/span>.
