Dr. Squatch, LLC<\/i>, Case No.: 25STCV03523 (&#8220;Lawsuit&#8221;).<\/p>\n<p>Subject to Court approval, a Settlement has been reached in the class action Lawsuit <b><i>Victor Guzman, Perry Bruno, Lauren Fleming, David Plowden, Karen Betzag, and Jaime Napolitano, <\/i><\/b><b><i>individually, and on behalf of all others similarly situated,<\/i><\/b><b><i>\u00a0v. Dr. Squatch, LLC,<\/i><\/b>\u00a0Case No.:\u00a0<b>25STCV03523<\/b>.\u00a0In the Lawsuit, the Plaintiffs allege that Dr. Squatch LLC (&#8220;Defendant&#8221;) represented that certain of its shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, soap and other products (the &#8220;Products&#8221;, a complete list of which is provided in the Settlement Website, available at <a href=\"https:\/\/edge.prnewswire.com\/c\/link\/?t=0&amp;l=en&amp;o=4762180-1&amp;h=1391635915&amp;u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.personalcareproductssettlement.com%2F%3Futm_source%3DPRN%26utm_medium%3DIntro%26utm_campaign%3DDr_Squatch&amp;a=www.PersonalCareProductsSettlement.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">www.PersonalCareProductsSettlement.com<\/a>) were natural even though the Products contained certain ingredients Plaintiffs allege were synthetic. Dr. Squatch has at all times denied, and continues to deny, the allegations and that it has engaged in any wrongdoing. Specifically, Dr. Squatch maintains that the Class Products were properly labeled as natural. The Parties have agreed to settle the Lawsuit, without any finding of wrongdoing or admission of liability by Dr. Squatch, as a compromise to avoid the burden, expense and uncertainty of further litigation. The Settlement will create a fund of $9,000,000, including attorneys&#8217; fees not to exceed one third of the Settlement Amount to be paid to Class Counsel ($3,000,000), as well as a separate payment for attorney costs and expenses (up to a maximum of $50,000); notice and administration costs (estimated to be $475,000); and an incentive award to the named Plaintiffs, not to exceed $40,000 total.<\/p>\n<p><b><u>Am I a Settlement Class Member?<\/u><\/b>\u00a0You are a Settlement Class Member if you purchased a Product from November 1, 2018 Through August 29, 2026.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><b><u>How do I get a payment?<\/u><\/b>\u00a0If you are a valid Settlement Class Member and wish to receive your portion of the settlement fund, you need to complete and submit a Claim Form online at <a href=\"https:\/\/edge.prnewswire.com\/c\/link\/?t=0&amp;l=en&amp;o=4762180-1&amp;h=783633395&amp;u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.personalcareproductssettlement.com%2F%3Futm_source%3DPRN%26utm_medium%3DPayment%26utm_campaign%3DDr_Squatch&amp;a=www.PersonalCareProductsSettlement.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">www.PersonalCareProductsSettlement.com<\/a>\u00a0(&#8220;Settlement Website&#8221;) or submitting via U.S. Mail to the address listed below<b> no later than November 27, 2026<\/b>. After the Settlement&#8217;s Effective Date and the Court&#8217;s final approval of the Settlement, you will then receive a payment for an amount that shall be calculated <i>pro rata<\/i> based on the number of Valid Claim forms that are submitted by the Settlement Class.
