Delgado<\/span>, President and CEO of the National Alliance for Hispanic Health (the Alliance), the nation&#8217;s leading Hispanic health advocacy group.<\/p>\n<p>The <span class=\"xn-location\">Chicago<\/span> ordinance raising the smoking age from 18 to 21 passed the City Council by a decisive 35 to 10 vote.\u00a0 &#8220;Economic interests should not take precedence over the welfare of <span class=\"xn-location\">Chicago&#8217;s<\/span> youth.\u00a0 Today&#8217;s vote will help families protect the health of their children today and in the future,&#8221; said <span class=\"xn-person\">Esther E.
