<a href=\"http:\/\/photos.prnewswire.com\/prnh\/20160428\/361127\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">http:\/\/photos.prnewswire.com\/prnh\/20160428\/361127<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>In addition to the new image of LATAM aircraft, the company presented a number of other changes that will be visible from May onwards, including new uniforms, airport signage and counter design as well as a consolidated website (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.latam.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">www.latam.com<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><i>&#8220;In the coming days, aircraft with the new LATAM image will take to the skies, representing a historic milestone for the leading airline group in <span class=\"xn-location\">Latin America<\/span>,&#8221;<\/i> <b>said <span class=\"xn-person\">Enrique Cueto<\/span>, CEO of LATAM Airlines Group<\/b>.\u00a0 &#8220;It will be a gradual change with the principal objective of simplifying and improving the travel experience of our passengers.<\/p>\n<p><i>&#8220;In the coming weeks, our passengers will start to experience LATAM with the ability to book tickets via the LATAM website, accumulate kilometers using LATAM&#8217;s frequent flyer program, check-in at LATAM counters, relax in LATAM VIP lounges and most significantly, fly on LATAM-branded aircraft.\u00a0 We will continue to optimize the most extensive route network in <span class=\"xn-location\">Latin America<\/span>, the most modern fleet in the region and invest in digital solutions to offer our passengers a more personalized travel experience.&#8221;<\/i><\/p>\n<p>The first flight of a LATAM-branded aircraft, a Boeing 767, will depart from <span class=\"xn-location\">Rio de Janeiro<\/span> on 1 May on a one-off journey to <span class=\"xn-location\">Geneva<\/span> to collect the Olympic torch.\u00a0 The specially prepared aircraft will then return on 3 May to <span class=\"xn-location\">Brasilia<\/span>, the starting place of the Rio 2016 Olympic Torch Relay between more than 300 Brazilian cities.<\/p>\n<p>On 5 May, the first three commercial flights of aircraft with the new LATAM image will operate the following routes: S\u00e3o Paulo-Santiago (a Boeing 767 service departing S\u00e3o Paulo at 09:05 local time); <span class=\"xn-location\">Santiago<\/span>&#8211;<span class=\"xn-location\">Lima<\/span> (an Airbus A319 service departing <span class=\"xn-location\">Santiago<\/span> at 09:10 local time); and S\u00e3o Paulo-Brasilia (an Airbus A319 service departing S\u00e3o Paulo at 14:20 local time).\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>More than 50 aircraft are anticipated to be rebranded before the end of 2016 and the fleet-wide process is expected to be finalized in 2018.\u00a0 Repainting takes on average six to 12 days per plane and will be scheduled in accordance with routine maintenance to maximize efficiency.<\/p>\n<p>From 5 May, LATAM&#8217;s evolution will also become visible in 13 airports where the group&#8217;s airlines operate including their hubs in <span class=\"xn-location\">Santiago<\/span>, S\u00e3o Paulo (Guarulhos), <span class=\"xn-location\">Lima<\/span> and <span class=\"xn-location\">Brasilia<\/span> as well as R\u00edo de Janeiro (Gale\u00e3o), S\u00e3o Paulo (Congonhas), <span class=\"xn-location\">Buenos Aires<\/span> (Ezeiza), Bogot\u00e1, <span class=\"xn-location\">Quito<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Miami<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Madrid<\/span>, Guiyaquil and <span class=\"xn-location\">New York<\/span> (JFK).\u00a0 Changes will range from new-look check-in counters and VIP lounges to rebranded boarding passes and screen displays.\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>In early May, the group will launch its new integrated website <a href=\"http:\/\/www.latam.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">www.latam.com<\/a> \u2013 available in six languages \u2013 where passengers will be able to seamlessly purchase tickets, check-in, review real-time flight statuses, set-up alerts and access other useful travel information.<\/p>\n<p>Today also saw the unveiling of the new uniforms to be worn by over 23,000 cabin crew, sales office and airport staff throughout LATAM Airline Group&#8217;s network, with the global roll-out to begin before the end of 2016.\u00a0 The LATAM uniforms \u2013 which showcase the signature indigo and coral of the LATAM logo \u2013 were created by the celebrated Brazilian fashion designer Pedro Louren\u00e7o with collaboration from a focus group of over 80 employees from different areas of the company.<\/p>\n<p>LATAM Airlines Group signaled further developments to its in-flight experience including a new onboard magazine and media platform <i>Vamos\/ LATAM<\/i>, which will offer content across a range of channels in Spanish, Portuguese and English. \u00a0In addition, an exclusive South American wine list will be introduced to all international flights of LATAM Airlines Group during 2016.\u00a0 The improvements follow last year&#8217;s introduction of LATAM Entertainment \u2013 which offers wireless content streaming direct to passengers&#8217;
