When complete, it will be the sole school building for the community. <\/li>\n<li><b>Developments in Literacy<\/b>, to fully fund the operational and administrative costs of the Nai Abadi school located in Rawalpindi, <span class=\"xn-location\">Pakistan<\/span>. <\/li>\n<li><b>First Book, <\/b>to fund a book donation through the D\u00eda de Los Libros initiative in <span class=\"xn-location\">the United States<\/span> (<span class=\"xn-location\">Dallas<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Los Angeles<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">New York<\/span> and <span class=\"xn-location\">Miami<\/span>) and <span class=\"xn-location\">Jamaica<\/span>. <\/li>\n<li><b>Grants for Innovative Teaching (GFIT), a Signature Project of the <\/b>Junior League of <span class=\"xn-location\">Dallas<\/span> that encourages and supports excellence in teaching by awarding grants up to <span class=\"xn-money\">$2,000<\/span> to Dallas ISD teachers for innovative projects that otherwise would not be provided for in schools budgets. <\/li>\n<li><b>One Laptop Per Child (OLPC)<\/b>, to fully fund the implementation of the &#8220;MathemaTIC&#8221; educational program in two schools in Chinandega, <span class=\"xn-location\">Nicaragua<\/span>. The schools will receive 300 laptops to complete the program. <\/li>\n<li><b>Pencils of Promise (PoP), <\/b>to fund one of 14 schools Pencils of Promise will build in the Luang Prabang Region of <span class=\"xn-location\">Laos<\/span> this year.
