Consumer Class A is all persons in <span class=\"xn-location\">the United States<\/span> who purchased a Fat PS3 between <span class=\"xn-chron\">November 1, 2006<\/span> and <span class=\"xn-chron\">April 1, 2010<\/span> from an authorized retailer for family, personal and\/or household use and used the Other OS functionality after installation of a Linux operating system. \u00a0Consumer Class B is all persons in <span class=\"xn-location\">the United States<\/span> who purchased a Fat PS3 between <span class=\"xn-chron\">November 1, 2006<\/span> and <span class=\"xn-chron\">April 1, 2010<\/span> from an authorized retailer for family, personal and\/or household use. \u00a0The benefit for both classes is monetary, <span class=\"xn-money\">$55<\/span> (for Consumer Class A) or <span class=\"xn-money\">$9<\/span> (for Consumer Class B). \u00a0The deadline for submitting claim forms is <span class=\"xn-chron\">December 7, 2016<\/span>. Claim forms and exemplars of acceptable forms of proof of use for each category in Consumer Class A are available on the Settlement Website or may be obtained by calling the Settlement Administrator.\u00a0 Please note that these are not the sole forms of acceptable proof but merely serve as examples.\u00a0 If you have questions about whether your proof for membership in Class A is acceptable, please contact the Settlement Administrator. <\/p>\n<p>You may choose to exclude yourself from the settlement by sending your name, address, PS3 serial number and PSN Network ID along with a statement that you wish to be excluded to the Settlement Administrator at the address below. \u00a0If you exclude yourself, you will not receive anything but will retain your right to sue. \u00a0You may also object to the settlement with the option to appear at the final approval hearing with your own attorney at your cost. \u00a0If you do nothing or object to the settlement, you will be bound by its terms and cannot later sue SCEA.
