It included <span class=\"xn-money\">$1000<\/span> cash prize and a ceramics work of art by <span class=\"xn-location\">Miami<\/span> artist <span class=\"xn-person\">Rodrigo de la Luz<\/span>. ArtesMiami board of directors, benefactors and more than 100 local leaders attended. The Mayor of <span class=\"xn-location\">Miami<\/span> declared <span class=\"xn-chron\">October 14<\/span><sup>th<\/sup><span class=\"xn-person\">Mitchell Kaplan Day<\/span> in the City of Miami.\u00a0 The Consul General of <span class=\"xn-location\">Spain<\/span>, Candido Creis; Ambassador <span class=\"xn-person\">Marcelo Giusto<\/span>, Consul General of <span class=\"xn-location\">Argentina<\/span>, former Mayor <span class=\"xn-person\">Maurice Ferr\u00e9<\/span>, and other prominent leaders attended.
