Simon has more than 25 years of legal experience in private law practice and in-house positions. She first joined Mary Kay Inc. in 1995 as an employment lawyer, then left to rejoin the law firm, <span class=\"xn-person\">Locke Purnell Rain Harrell<\/span>, where she was elected as a partner in 1998. Simon returned to Mary Kay Inc. in 2000 and most recently served as Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Secretary. <\/p>\n<p>She is active in the legal community, currently serving on the Women in the Profession Committee for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.texasbar.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">State Bar of Texas<\/a> and as a member of the General Counsel Working Group at the <a href=\"https:\/\/law.utexas.edu\/cwil\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Center for Women in Law<\/a> at the <span class=\"xn-org\">University of Texas<\/span>.
