{"id":49872,"date":"2016-12-13T20:00:00","date_gmt":"2016-12-14T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/demo2016.hispanicprwire.com\/english-survey-of-inspire-america-foundation-and-america-teve\/"},"modified":"2016-12-14T14:56:28","modified_gmt":"2016-12-14T18:56:28","slug":"encuesta-de-la-fundacion-inspira-america-y-america-teve","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hispanicprwire.com\/en\/encuesta-de-la-fundacion-inspira-america-y-america-teve\/","title":{"rendered":"Survey of Inspire America Foundation and America TeVe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<style type=\"text\/css\"><![CDATA[\n\/* Style Definitions *\/\nspan.prnews_span\n{\nfont-size:8pt;\nfont-family:\"Arial\";\ncolor:black;\n}\na.prnews_a\n{\ncolor:blue;\n}\nli.prnews_li\n{\nfont-size:8pt;\nfont-family:\"Arial\";\ncolor:black;\n}\np.prnews_p\n{\nfont-size:0.62em;\nfont-family:\"Arial\";\ncolor:black;\nmargin:0in;\n}\n.prntac{\nTEXT-ALIGN: CENTER\n}\n]]><\/style>\n<div class=\"xn-content\">\n<p><span class=\"xn-location\">MIAMI<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-chron\">Dec. 13, 2016<\/span> \/PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE\/ &#8212;<b>\u00a0<\/b>Inspire America Foundation and <span class=\"xn-person\">America TeVe<\/span> show the relevant results of the first survey conducted among Cuban Americans voters in <span class=\"xn-location\">Florida<\/span> following the death of dictator <span class=\"xn-person\">Fidel Castro<\/span> and the election victory of\u00a0Republican presidential candidate, <span class=\"xn-person\">Donald Trump<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>The study was done by Survey <span class=\"xn-location\">USA<\/span>, one of the most prestigious polling organizations in <span class=\"xn-location\">the United States<\/span>, and explores the opinion of these voters on issues vital for <span class=\"xn-location\">Southern Florida<\/span> and <span class=\"xn-location\">Cuba<\/span> such as the relations between <span class=\"xn-location\">Washington<\/span> and <span class=\"xn-location\">Havana<\/span>, the validity of the law of Cuban adjustment Cuban and human rights on the island among others. <\/p>\n<p>Starting with a balanced universe of 600 persons that were interviewed, the survey explores in an incisive and explicit manner the aspects that other polls have never touched with sensitive complexity after the restoration of relations between <span class=\"xn-location\">the United States<\/span> and <span class=\"xn-location\">Cuba<\/span> from late 2014.<\/p>\n<p>As per the poll:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>From 478 registered Cuban-Americans voters who were interviewed\u00a0about the presidential election, 60% voted for <span class=\"xn-person\">Donald Trump<\/span>; while 31% voted for the Democratic candidate, <span class=\"xn-person\">Hillary Clinton<\/span>. In this particular, the poll had a margin of error of +\/-4.5%. <\/li>\n<li>Cuban-Americans considered unfair that <span class=\"xn-person\">Raul Castro&#8217;s<\/span> Government stays\u00a0with 92% of the salary that American companies pay and\/or pay their employees on the island. <\/li>\n<li>In a ratio of 6 to 1,\u00a0the Cuban Americans considered that, after the death of <span class=\"xn-person\">Fidel Castro<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">the United States<\/span> must cease all commercial openings with <span class=\"xn-person\">Raul Castro&#8217;s<\/span> government until solid steps are taken towards the democratization of the island. <\/li>\n<li>The majority of Cuban-Americans considered the Cuban Adjustment Act should be amended to avoid being violated or abused by Cubans who arrive from the island claiming political persecution, taking benefits prescribed by the Act and then traveling to <span class=\"xn-location\">Cuba<\/span> under normal circumstances without fear of reprisal. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Survey <span class=\"xn-location\">USA<\/span> is a non-partisan pollster, founded in 1990 and headquartered in <span class=\"xn-location\">New Jersey<\/span>, with presence in 50 States in the nation. Their services are usually requested by 19 of the 25 major American communication companies which rely on their scientific judgment on issues related to media, the Government, the private sector and the public. Its position is unique in the research of public opinion in all the levels.<\/p>\n<p>Both the Inspire America Foundation and <span class=\"xn-person\">America TeVe<\/span> wanted to expand the spectrum of opinion among Cuban Americans on issues that concern them daily.
