All eligible submissions must be received by <span class=\"xn-chron\">Friday, May 26, 2017<\/span>, and winners will be announced on or about <span class=\"xn-chron\">September 1, 2017<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>In its fourth year, the <b>Caf\u00e9 Bustelo<\/b> <i>El Caf\u00e9 del Futuro Scholarship Essay Contest<\/i> has awarded <span class=\"xn-money\">$135,000<\/span> in college scholarships to 27 students nationwide. Last year, 550 eligible entries were received from U.S. students.
