(&#8220;MFI&#8221;); and to provide information for submitting claims in connection with previously-approved settlements with National Food Corporation (&#8220;NFC&#8221;), Midwest Poultry Services, L.P. (&#8220;Midwest&#8221;), United Egg Producers and United States Egg Marketers (&#8220;UEP\/USEM&#8221;), NuCal Foods, Inc. (&#8220;NuCal&#8221;), and Hillandale Farms of Pa., Inc. and Hillandale-<span class=\"xn-location\">Gettysburg<\/span>, L.P. Pa<\/span>.).<\/p>\n<p><b>What is this lawsuit about?\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n<p>Plaintiffs allege that Defendants conspired to decrease the supply of eggs which caused the price of eggs to artificially increase and direct purchasers to pay more for Shell Eggs and Egg Products than they would have otherwise paid. Defendants have denied all liability for this conduct and asserted that their conduct was lawful and\/or exempt from the antitrust laws, among other defenses.<\/p>\n<p><b>Who is included in the Litigation Class?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The Litigation Class includes individuals\/entities that purchased Shell Eggs in the U.S. directly from Defendants from <span class=\"xn-chron\">9\/24\/2004 through 12\/31\/2008<\/span>. If you exclude yourself, you will not be entitled to share in any future distributions if Plaintiffs obtain money from a trial or future settlements. The deadline to exclude yourself is <span class=\"xn-chron\">October 9, 2017<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><b>Who\/what is included in the MFI Settlement?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The MFI Settlement Class includes individuals\/entities that purchased Shell Eggs in the U.S. directly from Defendants from <span class=\"xn-chron\">9\/24\/2004 through 12\/31\/2008<\/span>. MFI will provide the Class with <span class=\"xn-money\">$75 million<\/span> and cooperation. Plaintiffs will release all claims against MFI. The deadline to submit a claim, submit an objection, or submit an exclusion is <span class=\"xn-chron\">October 9, 2017<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><b>Who may submit a claim in connection with the NFC, Midwest, UEP\/USEM, NuCal &amp; Hillandale Settlements?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>If you did not previously exclude yourself from these Settlements, and you purchased Shell Eggs and\/or Egg Products in the U.S. from <span class=\"xn-chron\">1\/1\/2000 through 12\/19\/2014<\/span> directly from any Producer, you may be entitled to submit a claim form postmarked no later than <span class=\"xn-chron\">October 9, 2017<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><b>Who represents you?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The Court appointed <span class=\"xn-person\">Stanley Bernstein<\/span> (Bernstein Liebhard LLP); <span class=\"xn-person\">Michael Hausfeld<\/span> (Hausfeld LLP); <span class=\"xn-person\">Mindee Reuben<\/span> (Lite DePalma Greenberg, LLC), and <span class=\"xn-person\">Stephen Susman<\/span> (Susman Godfrey LLP) as Class Counsel.
