The event promotes physical activity and good nutrition in the Hispanic family for better health and wellness for people of all ages and sizes. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;For eleven years, <i>\u00a1Vive tu vida! <\/i>Get Up! Get Moving!, has provided nutrition education, free health screenings and wellness activities to communities across the nation,&#8221; said Dr. <span class=\"xn-person\">Jane L. Delgado<\/span>, President and CEO of the National Alliance for Hispanic Health, the nation&#8217;s leading Hispanic health advocacy group. &#8220;We are grateful and proud of the work and energy of all our partners and hundreds of volunteers that make these events such a success and celebration of family, culture, and health.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are so proud to be celebrating our 11th year having this event in Mason Park. We have individuals that come every year to get their flu shots and high blood pressure screenings. Last year we did 200 flu shots, 80 eye exams and 300 blood\/glucose screening. Legacy Health Clinic was there and helped individuals schedule appointments with a doctor, if the screenings showed that a doctor follow up was advisable.
