The Boston Fair Housing Commission, comprised of five members, is responsible for conducting conciliations between complainants and respondents and presiding over hearings on housing discrimination complaints made to the department. <\/p>\n<p>Javier&#8217;s appointment is a continuation of his longstanding commitment to diversity and inclusion and community involvement. He is currently co-chair of the MG+M Diversity and Inclusion Committee and president of the Hispanic National Bar Association Region I, among other accolades.
