But in these groundbreaking episodes, the real-life SciGirls and their mentors tackle their STEM adventures in both Spanish and English, honoring their Mexican, Puerto Rican, Dominican, Guatemalan, Argentinian, Colombian, Ecuadoran and Salvadoran heritage. Subtitles for both languages are provided, making sure <i>all <\/i>viewers can join in the STEM learning. <\/p>\n<p>And as always, <i>SciGirls&#8217;<\/i> brand of STEM learning is all about collaboration, exploration and flat-out <i>fun.<\/i> Hailing from all over <span class=\"xn-location\">the United States<\/span>, the bilingual STEM superstars code light-up dance costumes in <span class=\"xn-location\">New York<\/span>, engineer an urban chicken coop in <span class=\"xn-location\">Colorado<\/span>, design NASA-inspired water bottles in <span class=\"xn-location\">Texas<\/span>, explore tree ecology in <span class=\"xn-location\">Puerto Rico<\/span>, engineer a streamlined process for an <span class=\"xn-location\">Arizona<\/span> food bank or create a fitness boot camp to promote community health in <span class=\"xn-location\">California<\/span>. <i>SciGirls&#8217;<\/i> animated character\u00a0Izzie\u00a0is also back, sharing her favorite activities and her Hispanic\u00a0family&#8217;s customs, goals and adventures. <\/p>\n<p>In addition to these high-energy, Spanish-first episodes, the <i>SciGirls<\/i> educational outreach team is partnering with Hispanic-facing youth organizations nationwide to deliver standards-based bilingual STEM programming to children, families and educators.
