Before Tesla, Risher served for nearly nine years in various senior legal and IP leadership roles at Apple, including director of patent litigation and director of patent strategy &amp; licensing. In those capacities he managed and negotiated complex cutting-edge technology disputes, licensing engagements, and strategic partnerships worldwide. Risher has also held intellectual property-related positions at Abbott Laboratories in <span class=\"xn-location\">Chicago<\/span> and the law firms Latham &amp; Watkins and Rutan &amp; Tucker in <span class=\"xn-location\">Orange County, California<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Risher carries strong business-focused training and is a seasoned technology strategist.
