The AFB show will welcome over 11,000 decision-making buyers from 94 countries, offering a comprehensive seminar schedule on industry trend topics and an exhibition hall with 400 booths. U.S. egg suppliers will be able to strengthen their global connections and tap new markets.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In addition to sponsoring a booth and educational trend session at the AFB show, AEB and partner organization, the <span class=\"xn-location\">USA<\/span> Poultry and Egg Export Council (USAPEEC), are hosting 20 key egg buyers from the <span class=\"xn-location\">Caribbean<\/span> and <span class=\"xn-location\">Mexico<\/span> to provide top-notch training on U.S. eggs and to meet one-on-one with U.S. egg suppliers and producers while in <span class=\"xn-location\">Miami<\/span>. These sessions will give <span class=\"xn-location\">Caribbean<\/span> and Mexican buyers first-hand insight into how U.S. eggs and egg products can tap into growing market demand and benefit their businesses&#8217; bottom lines.<\/p>\n<p>The <span class=\"xn-location\">Caribbean<\/span> and Mexican markets represent a strong growth opportunity for U.S. egg exports. For 2017, the <span class=\"xn-location\">Caribbean<\/span> ranked third and <span class=\"xn-location\">Mexico<\/span> ranked fourth in value among U.S. export destinations for table eggs and products. These markets rank behind only <span class=\"xn-location\">Hong Kong<\/span> and <span class=\"xn-location\">Canada<\/span>, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Exports to the <span class=\"xn-location\">Caribbean<\/span> accounted for 13.2 percent of U.S. table egg export volume in 2017. U.S. egg exports to the <span class=\"xn-location\">Caribbean<\/span> more than quadrupled from 2010 to 2017, reaching <span class=\"xn-money\">$26.9 million<\/span> in 2017, accounting for 10.8 percent of the <span class=\"xn-money\">$249 million<\/span> total value of U.S. egg exports. Top markets in the <span class=\"xn-location\">Caribbean<\/span> include the <span class=\"xn-location\">Bahamas<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Trinidad and Tobago<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Cayman Islands<\/span>, and <span class=\"xn-location\">Dominican Republic<\/span>. Exports to <span class=\"xn-location\">Mexico<\/span> accounted for 12.1 percent of U.S. table egg export volume in 2017, reaching <span class=\"xn-money\">$27 million<\/span> and accounting for 10.9 percent of total value of U.S. overall egg exports in 2017.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The American Egg Board is excited to pursue growth opportunities in key international markets,&#8221; said <span class=\"xn-person\">Anne L.
