More than 5 million packages are expected to be delivered each Sunday in December. Mail carriers will also deliver Priority Mail Express packages on Christmas Day for an additional fee in <b>select<\/b> locations. <\/p>\n<p><b>Busiest Week<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The notion of a &#8220;busiest day&#8221; is a thing of the past, thanks to the increase in early and online gift shopping. Customer mailing and shipping traffic is expected to increase beginning <span class=\"xn-chron\">Dec. 10<\/span>, and the Postal Service expects to deliver nearly 200 million packages <b>per week<\/b> during these two weeks. The week of <span class=\"xn-chron\">Dec. 17-23<\/span> is predicted to be the busiest mailing, shipping and delivery week, when nearly 3 billion pieces of First-Class Mail, including greeting cards, will be processed and delivered. <\/p>\n<p><b>Wrap Up the Holidays from Home<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Consumers don&#8217;t even have to leave home to ship their packages, they can simply visit <i><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.usps.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow\">usps.com<\/a><\/i>. The Postal Service anticipates <span class=\"xn-chron\">Dec. 17<\/span> will be the Postal Service&#8217;s busiest day <b>online<\/b> with more than 8 million consumers predicted to visit <i><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.usps.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow\">usps.com<\/a><\/i> for help shipping that special holiday gift. It&#8217;s predicted that nearly 105 million consumers will visit the website between Thanksgiving and New Year&#8217;s Day. And <i><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.usps.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow\">usps.com<\/a> <\/i>is always open.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s estimated nearly 400,000 consumers will use the <i><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.usps.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow\">Click-N-Ship<\/a><\/i> feature and other online services on <span class=\"xn-chron\">Dec. 17<\/span> to order free Priority Mail boxes, print shipping labels, purchase postage and even request free next-day Package Pickup. <\/p>\n<p><b>Holiday Advertising Campaign<\/b> <\/p>\n<p>The Postal Service&#8217;s 2018 holiday campaign features direct mail, TV, radio, print, digital and social media promotions highlighting the organization&#8217;s proud tradition of delivering cheer and value to consumers and businesses. <\/p>\n<p>The first of several TV spots began airing <span class=\"xn-chron\">Nov. 9<\/span> and can be viewed on <i><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/uspstv\" rel=\"nofollow\">USPS-TV<\/a><\/i>.
