Vasquez, <i>eighth <span class=\"xn-location\">United States<\/span> Ambassador to the United Nations Agencies for Food and Agriculture,<\/i> which raised <span class=\"xn-money\">$80,000<\/span> for next year&#8217;s scholarships.\u00a0 Corporate sponsorships also raised <span class=\"xn-money\">$175,000<\/span>.\u00a0 President&#8217;s Circle Sponsors for 2018 included <b>SVA Architects<\/b>, <b>Edison International<\/b>, <b>Wells <span class=\"xn-location\">Fargo<\/span><\/b>, and the <b><span class=\"xn-org\">University of California, Irvine<\/span><\/b>.\u00a0 The dinner celebration also honored the following individuals:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li><b>Apple of Gold for Excellence in Education:<\/b>\u00a0 <span class=\"xn-person\">Michael Matsuda<\/span>, Superintendent at Anaheim Union High School District; and <span class=\"xn-person\">Vicki L.
