Individuals and\u00a0families who earned <span class=\"xn-money\">$55,000<\/span> or less in 2018 can save up to <span class=\"xn-money\">$200<\/span> in tax preparation fees; the program includes eligibility determinations for inclusion in federal tax credit programs. Program participants will continue to receive financial guidance on the best way to use their refund.<\/p>\n<p>These services will be provided at 16 permanent tax sites located across <span class=\"xn-location\">Broward County<\/span> in local nonprofits, public libraries, municipalities plus more than 25 mobile tax sites where a team of preparers travels to assist and ensure accessibility to the community. These tax credits change from year to year and are based on earnings, number of qualifying children and marital status.<\/p>\n<p>The maximum amount of EITC credits for 2018 is as follows: <\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li><span class=\"xn-money\">$6,431<\/span> with three or more qualifying children <\/li>\n<li><span class=\"xn-money\">$5,716<\/span> with two qualifying children <\/li>\n<li><span class=\"xn-money\">$3,461<\/span> with one qualifying child <\/li>\n<li><span class=\"xn-money\">$519<\/span> with no qualifying children<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This free tax service is available for persons with disabilities, veterans and the elderly.
