The pilot program may be conducted in ten cities: <span class=\"xn-location\">San Francisco<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Oakland<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Sacramento<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Los Angeles<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">West Hollywood<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Long Beach<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Cathedral City<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Coachella<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Palm Springs<\/span> and <span class=\"xn-location\">Fresno<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), <span class=\"xn-location\">California<\/span> already suffers more annual alcohol-related harm than any other state: over 10,500 alcohol-related deaths, <span class=\"xn-money\">$35 billion<\/span> in total costs, <span class=\"xn-money\">$14.5 billion<\/span> in state costs.<\/p>\n<p>Alcohol Justice and the California Alcohol Policy Alliance have taken a strong OPPOSE position on SB 58, a poorly conceived and inadequately funded pilot project.
