The regime fabricated criminal charges against him, which is a tactic they use to quell dissent and avoid international condemnation for holding political prisoners. Activists such as <span class=\"xn-person\">Roilan Zarraga Ferrer<\/span>, Jos\u00e9 <span class=\"xn-person\">Pupo Chaveco<\/span>, and Fernando Gonz\u00e1lez Vaillant are among those currently held captive, and it is important the world know their names so that it is not just one person falling victim to the Cuban regime, but all those who are fighting for freedom.<\/p>\n<p><b><u>A Brief History of Cuban Regime Oppression<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>The Cuban regime has had a strong hand in backing, and in many cases, helping to install puppet governments around <span class=\"xn-location\">Latin America<\/span>, including places like <span class=\"xn-location\">Venezuela<\/span> and <span class=\"xn-location\">Bolivia<\/span>. <\/b>Bolivians however, have recently spoken and taken down the fraudulent presidency of <span class=\"xn-person\">Evo Morales<\/span>, marches in <span class=\"xn-location\">Venezuela<\/span> are demanding the removal of Maduro, and <b>inside <span class=\"xn-location\">Cuba<\/span>, people are also demanding their voice back. Ferrer is one of these. <\/b><\/p>\n<p>The Cuban regime, however, has perfected the silencing of its people through tactics of fear and repression.
