The one who is\u00a0giving new life to one of the most romantic and best-selling songs of the early &#8217;70s is <b>PINKY DREAD<\/b>, aka <b><span class=\"xn-person\">George Henry<\/span><\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>The new version of &#8220;<span class=\"xn-person\">Un Beso<\/span> y <span class=\"xn-person\">Una Flor<\/span>&#8221; is titled &#8220;<b>GOT TO LEAVE<\/b>&#8220;. The song has been embedded in the Jamaican artist&#8217;s DNA since childhood, even without understanding a single word, thanks to the multicultural influence of his mother, <span class=\"xn-person\">Hortense Ellis<\/span>, known as &#8220;The First Lady of the Songs of <span class=\"xn-location\">Jamaica<\/span>&#8220;. <b><i>&#8220;One of the songs that I always listened to thanks to her was\u00a0&#8216;Un Beso y una Flor&#8217; by <span class=\"xn-person\">Nino Bravo<\/span>, so <b>when the producers of my new album<\/b>, of Hispanic heritage, began to explore the possibility of recording something in Spanish, I immediately thought of the song and translated it,&#8221;<\/i><\/b> affirmed the artist from <span class=\"xn-location\">Jamaica<\/span>. In fact, the new English\u00a0version was approved\u00a0by the original songwriters\u00a0<b>Jos\u00e9 <span class=\"xn-person\">Luis Armenteros<\/span> and <span class=\"xn-person\">Pablo Herrero<\/span><\/b>.<\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"xn-person\">George Henry<\/span><\/b>\u00a0was born and raised amid the music and art\u00a0in <span class=\"xn-location\">Jamaica<\/span>.
