Together we can overcome this pandemic and save more lives, especially Californians living in the most vulnerable communities.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"xn-location\">California<\/span> continues to build positive momentum as it readies to receive increased supply of COVID-19 vaccines from the federal government in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to building the state&#8217;s capacity to administer 5.5 million doses a week, other key milestones include:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>34 local health jurisdictions (LHJs) have joined the state&#8217;s enhanced vaccine network, representing the vast majority of Californians. More LHJs are expected to join in coming days. <\/li>\n<li>1,400 clinics have onboarded to <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/c212.net\/c\/link\/?t=0&amp;l=en&amp;o=3115828-1&amp;h=1447301198&amp;u=https%3A%2F%2Fmyturn.ca.gov%2F&amp;a=My+Turn\" rel=\"nofollow\">My Turn<\/a>, the state&#8217;s vaccine scheduling system. <\/li>\n<li>Equity momentum is building with <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/c212.net\/c\/link\/?t=0&amp;l=en&amp;o=3115828-1&amp;h=1354014401&amp;u=https%3A%2F%2Fcovid19.ca.gov%2Fvaccines%2F%23California-vaccines-dashboard&amp;a=significant+improvement\" rel=\"nofollow\">significant improvement<\/a> in vaccination rates among Californians who live in Healthy Places Index lowest quartile communities. <\/li>\n<li>More than 2 million appointments completed through My Turn, enabling the third-party administrator to more effectively track vaccines and make equitable allocation recommendations to the state, which makes the final allocation decisions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It&#8217;s important to note that providers whose patients are awaiting second doses will continue to receive vaccine allocation from the state in order to complete those vaccinations.
