Some households also received a dozen eggs.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Sendero is celebrating its 10<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary this year and we wanted to give back to the community that has supported us this past decade,&#8221; said <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/c212.net\/c\/link\/?t=0&amp;l=en&amp;o=3363591-1&amp;h=1454928925&amp;u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.senderohealth.com%2Fmanagement%2F&amp;a=Wesley+Durkalski\" rel=\"nofollow\"><span class=\"xn-person\">Wesley Durkalski<\/span><\/a>, president and CEO of Sendero Health Plans. &#8220;We wanted to help make this Thanksgiving holiday a little easier for some of our community&#8217;s most vulnerable.<\/p>\n<p>Recipients of the turkeys drove up to volunteers who loaded a turkey and sides into the cars. Free flu vaccines were also provided to those wanting one.<\/p>\n<p>Other participating organizations in addition to Sendero Health and Austin Public Health and its <span class=\"xn-location\">East Austin<\/span> Neighborhood Center were <span class=\"xn-person\">Austin Public Works<\/span>, the Central Texas Food Bank, and Austin ISD. <\/p>\n<p>Sendero Health Plans recently received a Four-Star Quality Rating for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid making Sendero the only four-star and highest rated health plan in <span class=\"xn-location\">Texas<\/span> and the first and only to achieve that distinction in <span class=\"xn-location\">Central Texas<\/span>. Open enrollment for Affordable Care Act health plans is underway now.
