All funds raised will be used as scholarships for Mi Escuelita, which provides early-childhood education in English to non-English speaking children from low-income families throughout Dallas. “Each year, 95% of our graduating children qualify to transition directly to English speaking classrooms. This wouldn’t be possible without the gifts from our incredible supporting community,” said Gayle Nave, executive director of Mi Escuelita.

At the event, the Mi Escuelita team unveiled their new fundraising campaign: #WingsForDreams. Developed by long-time partner ad agency Dieste Inc., it focuses on increasing people’s awareness about the Mi Escuelita mission, by allowing participants to thank mentors, professors, parents or friends who inspired them.
