NAPLES, Fla., Oct. 15, 2015 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ —  It is not very common in this day and age, to see a business that just began ITS operations making an announcement that will donate up to 50 % of their profits.

Belen Rivera and Alan Rivera, daughter and father, and founders of TriOwl, Clothing with a Purpose

How is it possible to survive in a competitive arena where most companies that are born here in the United States eventually fail in the first year of operations?

“The numbers are staggering. Out of the 38,000 companies that will be created this year, 75 % are destined to fail. Statistically it is a nightmare,” says Belen Rivera, a young entrepreneur of only 19 years of age who, has the idea to use a popular crowd funding website, to launch the first campaign of her dream project: TriOwl, Clothing with a Purpose.

“The guarantee of our sustained growth and impact in a competitive market such as the online clothing business are the customers themselves,” Belen emphasized. “Our commitment is to offer a combination of two key elements for the total satisfaction of our customers: first, a high quality product, and second, a purpose that seeks to solve a serious social problem, which will eventually affect the American society,” she concludes.

Business gurus agree that this century is highly influenced by the “millennial culture.” This young and vibrant culture is described by Karl Moore in an interesting article published by Forbes magazine: “The Millennials are constantly looking for a purpose in everything they do.” So if companies want to be successful in the market, they should keep this cultural aspect in mind.

“A purpose. This is what we believe the business vision of the third millennium should be,” says Alan Rivera, President & CEO and father of Belen, who is fully confident in the success of TriOwl, Clothing with a Purpose. “TriOwl combines the keys to this new competitive market: high quality of garments made with 100 % Peruvian Pima cotton (which is considered the best cotton in the world) and invite potential costumers to discover themselves in a common purpose, helping thousands of children living in miserable conditions to have a better life surrounded by love, health, education, and success,” says Alan.

What TriOwl sets since the beginning of this first campaign —apart from other companies that donate clothing or food to the poor— is an innovative and bold scale of donations of their own net profits, which ranges from 10 % to even 50 % of them. In this way, they plan to develop a larger project: to finance homes to save street orphans and extremely poor children in Latin America where they will be living in a house, with a father and a mother.

“They will have parents that love them. These are not orphanages, but real homes, so the children will no longer be orphans,” emphasizes Belen. “It is a kind of challenge: our donations grow as our sales grow, and that is where our customers will feel that their purchases have a clear purpose and a positive social impact,” says Alan.

This week TriOwl, Clothing with a Purpose, launched its campaign through kickstarter.com, where dozens of people have already started to pre-order one or more pieces of clothing made of 100 % Peruvian Pima cotton.

If success is on this company’s side, they will surely set a business trend to be followed in the near future.
