MADRID, April 27, 2017 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ — On Tuesday, May 2nd, Atreseries Internacional is premiering the third season of ‘Allí Abajo’ (‘Down There’), a comedy that divides the heart of the audience between north and south.
Having now become one of the most successful Spanish series in recent years, ‘Allí Abajo’ is preparing all kinds of surprises while maintaining its distinctive characteristics: humor, entertainment, plots involving the whole cast, lots of outdoor scenes and a high degree of mobility for settings and characters, which will come across as an increase in the role of the north.
The premier will take place next Tuesday on Atreseries Internacional and the audience of this series is in luck, because with 16 episodes, this third season is the longest one so far, and will feature the addition of Elena Irureta, Nerea Garmendia and Gorka Otxoa, playing three new characters that will drive more than one person crazy.
Outlook for the third season
If there’s one thing that characterizes the third season of ‘Allí Abajo’ it’s that no one will be where they’re supposed to be, or with whom they’re supposed to be.
Carmen (María León) and Iñaki (Jon Plazaola) have dug in up north. Newlyweds, with their whole lives before them… well, what could go wrong? What’s more, and due to a most unfortunate incident suffered by don Benjumea (Mariano Peña), the north-south world will start to come unglued, and more than ever before, the characters will have to learn to live with the other ones. Some from the north will have to head south and some from the south will have to make the move north. Yet it’s not a matter of just this one change, but about identity itself; to the point that a certain character will end up questioning his own sexual orientation. This season anything can happen.
