SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico, April 23, 2016 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ — Bridgestone North Latin America, BS-LAN, through its subsidiary Bridgestone Costa Rica, announced the opening of the first “Bridgestone Store”, located at the financial and commercial corridor of the ‘zona metro of San Juan‘. With the opening of the “Bridgestone Store” Puerto Rico adds the 7th Service Center of Family Channel in the island, which reinforces the importance and the strategic growth of the Puerto Rican market for the BS-LAN region.

The “Bridgestone Store” has modern facilities and high technology equipment. The Puerto Rican consumers will have a personalized service and will be attended by qualified staff in a comfortable environment for the costumers. The main benefits and competitive advantages of the new Service Center are related to a full line-up of high-performance tires for cars and trucks, the acquiring of quality products and services, and specialized service in large facilities in a space of 3,685 cubic meters and the efficient attention and assistance for their vehicles.

High profile individuals such as Daniel Benvenuti, President and Director of Bridgestone in North Latin America; Erick Herrera, Bridgestone Country Manager in Costa Rica; Roger Hidalgo, Bridgestone Sales Director; amongst other special guests and clients, were present during last year’s opening ceremony on April 23rd.

This new Service Center will offer mechanical tuning service, changing of distribution bands, repair and setting of water bombs, and renewal of oxygen sensors and dampers. Furthermore, it will offer checking, replacing and adjusting of brakes, suspension, verification of accumulators, sale and installment of tires, alignment, balance, oil change, basic mechanics and preventive/basic services and maintenance.

The “Bridgestone Store” Service Center is located at 1141 F.D. Roosevelt St., San Juan, Puerto Rico. It will have customer service of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Correa Tires Distributor, one of the largest and most important of the island, will be the business partner in charge of distribution. Correa is a rooting company in Puerto Rico, founded in 1978. It started its operation re-moulding/retreading/rubberizing passenger and van tires. As distributors, they handle Rubber and Service Centers, and commercial, industrial, agriculture and government sectors.
